Two newly launched shell type boilers in the 500 kg per hour range, Neotherm and Compac, were showcased by the Heating (C&H) business and Channel partners at a recent roadshow that covered 20 Indian cities.
Neotherm, which caters to the business segment using oil and gas as fuel, has an efficiency of 92%, the highest of its class in furnace oil fired boilers in the SIB-R range. It provides a variety of fuel options like heavy and light diesel oil, natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas. With its high efficiency, fuel options and small footprint, the boiler is ideal for the hospitality, pharma and chemical sectors.
Compac, the modularised solid fuel boiler, using biomass briquettes and coal as fuel, is a packaged and skid mounted unit that does not need any major site construction. It minimises emissions by effectively capturing suspended particulate matter in the flue gas stream and makes the solid fuel option acceptable to the food processing and garment industries.
Both boilers offer better energy efficiencies by generating 98% dry saturated steam, minimising energy loss due to wetness and making use of condensate recovery for additional energy gains.
