The new manufacturing facility in Indonesia for Thermax's South East Asia operations is nearing completion and will be operational from the first quarter of the next financial year. Machinery for submerged arc welding, rotator welding, cutter nozzles and crane capacity has already been installed. The CNC rolling machine and weight bridge will come up shortly. Landscaping and building Certification from local public works office is in progress.
A new Thermax subsidiary, PT Thermax International, incorporated in Singapore will finance the plant, envisaged to be the manufacturing hub for the ASEAN region. Thermax will invest $25 million in the facility which will cover markets of Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
