POSITION : REGIONAL SALES AND SERVICE MANAGER (West Coast)
HOURS : FULL TIME

JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • West Coast regional sales: enabling lead generation efforts to increase visibility of company products through attending conferences, exhibiting in trade shows, arranging webinars and conducting seminars in the region.
  • Host training sessions for associates, professional engineers, MEP contractors and customers for new developments and upgrades of the absorption chiller technology.
  • Order sales: technical submittal generation and transfer of orders through SALES FORCE – CRM tool of Thermax.
  • West Coast order executions: work with a team of contractors and their engineers to execute an order in the region. This involves regular site meeting/reviews with customer project engineers and contractors to supervise erection, start-up and commissioning of units in the region as a service function. Prepare commissioning reports, start-up documentation to close and hand over the unit to the customer. Provide operational inputs and conduct meeting / training with the customer to discuss technology advantages.
  • West Coast regional services: address service requirements (post-sales) and operational complaints during the warranty period and monitor and guide the customer on proper operations of the chiller in the western region. Provide inputs for trouble-shooting and training on upgrades in software and hardware.
  • West Coast services and spares parts sales: address service requirements (post-sales) of customers and ensure proper allocation of parts and resources to ensure customer satisfaction. Service sales of annual maintenance contracts or monitoring contracts to customers to maintain the chiller in proper operational health and drive as revenue model for the company thereby creating sustainable business.
  • Develop strategies around energy & environmental impact with advantage of local government incentives by value creation through application engineering.
  • Specialized products for specific applications such as combine heat & power, solar and industrial applications are dealt directly by the company. Interactions and co-ordination with regional representatives of OEMS such as MICRO-TURBINE, SOLAR TURBINE and various reciprocating engine manufacturers is important.
  • Offer a comprehensive sales & service offering to support the customer and product life cycle.
  • Identify and develop local service representatives/employment for project execution and services.
  • Continue to develop CRM TOOL that helps sellers win.
  • Responsible for recovery of AR from the customers.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ten years’ experience in Absorption Chiller Sales & Service

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS :

Travel 10-12 days per month. Primarily to US locations. 10% International travel, including to Mexico & India. Telecommuting permitted
