India’s immediate neighbour, Bangladesh has benefited from the innovative solutions created by Thermax since June 1978. Since then, Thermax has provided several industrial solutions like oil and gas-fired boilers, waste heat recovery boilers, vapour absorption chillers, as well as water and wastewater solutions. These installations were carried out across the country’s key industries, which included textiles, pulp and paper, pharmaceuticals, tyre and rubber, food and beverages, feed mills and the country’s large rice industry. Then, in 1995, Thermax established a liaison office in Dhaka in order to focus on expanding its operations in Bangladesh.
Heating and cooling solutions are an integral part of the industrial operations across several industries. Due to the flexibility, adaptability and uniqueness of the solutions provided by Thermax, the company has been a provider of choice across every industry in the country. Some of the largest industrial houses in Bangladesh use these solutions, like the Envoy Group, a diverse conglomerate whose primary focus has been in the textiles business. Similarly, Beximco, another large private sector company has been a client of Thermax since 1995, when four installations of natural gas-fired boilers, each having a capacity of 10 TPH were installed in the company’s facilities.
