Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in EPC engineering (Biogas plants/Power/Oil & Gas preferred) 

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering

KeyResponsibilities

  • Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), P&I Diagrams, and technical specifications for equipment/packages.
  • Conduct hydraulic calculations, pressure drop analyses, and ensure robust process designs.
  • Prepare technical specifications, bid documents, and participate in technical bid evaluations and pre-order technical analysis.
  • Review post-order vendor drawings and provide manufacturing clearances; ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Oversee material handling system designs, including screens, shredders, conveyors, etc..
  • Manage interdisciplinary coordination with layouts, piping, electrical, civil, and procurement teams.
  • Interpret and apply piping material specifications within the project scope.
  • Ensure delivery of engineering deliverables within the project schedule and cost.
  • Perform site visits, inspections, and resolve technical queries or challenges during project execution

CriticalCompetencies

  • Expertise in process and mechanical engineering across the EPC lifecycle (design, procurement, construction, commissioning).
  • Hands-on proficiency with process simulation, hydraulic analysis, and preparing technical specifications.
  • Strong understanding of project workflow, technical bid evaluation, post-order management, and cross-functional engineering

TechnicalCompetencies

  • Knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulics, pressure drop calculations, process equipment, and material handling systems.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes, standards (ASME, API, ISO), and safety/environmental regulations for EPC projects.
  • Proficiency in engineering software preferred (Arrow/ Fathom/ HTRI, etc.).
  • Experience in vendor management, drawing review, and technical closure of packages.
  • Interdisciplinary teamwork (piping, electrical, civil, instrumentation).
