Brewing Partnership in Vietnam
In 2016, Thermax supplied three units of Combipac boilers to Southeast Asia’s largest independent soluble coffee facility located in the Nhut Chanh Industrial Park, Ben Luc District, Long An province, Vietnam. The boilers comprising two units of 16 TPH and one unit of 25 TPH capacities are designed to operate on anthracite coal and spent coffee waste – a byproduct of their production process as the primary fuel to deliver steam at a pressure of 21 bar. Other supporting fuels include biogas and High Speed Diesel (HSD). Along with boilers, Thermax has also commissioned an Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) for the customer to control the emissions that emanate from the process.
