Thermax entered the West African market and Nigeria almost three decades ago with installations of boilers, absorption chillers, water and wastewater treatment solutions and air pollution control systems. These heating, cooling and environmental solutions have benefited clients across Nigeria over the years. Thermax has set up a subsidiary company in the country, called Thermax Nigeria Limited, which is based in Lagos. Thermax services key industry segments in the country, like food and beverages, packaging, chemicals, cement, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, infrastructure and the hospitality sector.
A local presence enables Thermax to create a robust sales network as well as a service and support network for customers. Thermax also provides consultation, apart from products and solutions to clients in the region. Thermax has more than 250 installations across the West African region, and the brand has grown in strength and stature to serve the leading national and international brands in the country. Nigeria is also the home to Africa’s largest refinery, where Thermax has supplied 14 massive plug and play packages of boilers, which are a global benchmark in the modularisation technology, helping customers save time, money and safety risks at their construction sites.
