Pusher Grate Boilers
Salient Features
- Reduces suspension burning and carry-over due to mass burn technology/silent combustion
- The modular construction of the grate features a section width
varying from 1.5 to 3 m, along with a number of sections assembled side by side for larger widths - Air plenum of each grate section is divided into six compartments enabling independent control of air flow to each zone as per the combustion air requirement.
- Both air cooled and water cooled grate designs available, depending on the cooling method selected as per the fuel characteristics
- Machined grate bars ensure proper clearances for thermal expansion, movement and airflow area
- Robust construction, low maintenance requirements and high operational reliability
- Proven ram feeder design and hydraulic ash extractor system available for bulky fuels
- Low grade, high moisture, bulky/irregular sized fuels are better fired on pusher grate
- Suitable for the combustion of municipal solid waste and low quality refuse derived fuel
- Empty fruit bunches and other wastes from palm oil industry can be combusted efficiently
- Spent wash (vinasse) firing with bagasse/other biomass fuels is possible
